Christopher "Logic" Chilelli

Christopher Chilelli is a dancer, strength coach, MAT master specialist, and fitness educator based in NYC. He is the founder and director of LogicFit and the Mechanics in Motion program for moving artists. A sought-after expert on health and performance, he writes for several popular blogs, conducts fitness seminars across North America, and trains individuals and athletes to optimize their genetic potential.

Chris started coaching professionally in 2003, culminating a decade of involvement with martial arts and breakdancing. From the very beginning this background gave him a special, intuitive understanding of human movement and athleticism that he quickly complimented with a rigorous process of continuing education, investing more that 20k per year in workshops and certification courses. Over the years he has worked directly under some of the top coaches and educators in the exercise field and himself served until 2009 as Master Trainer for the prestigious, and now sadly erstwhile, Sports Club/LA Rockefeller Center.

Christopher’s training is distinctive. Largely ignoring the dangerous trends and shallow marketing that characterize popular fitness, he specializes in athletic performance and works to empower clients through an unwavering emphasis on the planning and execution of exercise – and not the numbers on the bar. Unsurprisingly, these methods have attracted a diverse and dedicated clientele ranging from business executives to professional athletes to dancers and performing artists.
